Terms of Service

By accessing our website, making a reservation, placing a takeaway or delivery order, or using any service offered by Aurora Restaurant ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Dine-In

We offer table service at our restaurant located at Kauppurienkatu 12, 90100 Oulu, Finland. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability; reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends.

Takeaway Orders

You may place takeaway orders through our website or by phone. Orders are accepted during operating hours. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if items are unavailable or if there is a technical pricing error.

Online Reservations

Reservations made via our website are provisional until confirmed by email or SMS. We reserve the right to contact you if we are unable to accommodate your request.

Confirmation

A reservation is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from Aurora Restaurant. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours.

Cancellation

We kindly ask that you cancel or modify your reservation at least 2 hours before the booking time. Cancellations can be made by phone or email. This allows us to accommodate other guests.

No-Show Policy

If a party does not arrive within 15 minutes of the reservation time and has not contacted us, Aurora Restaurant reserves the right to release the table to waiting guests.

Group Bookings

For reservations of 8 or more guests, special conditions may apply. Please contact us directly to discuss arrangements.

Prices

All prices on our website and menu are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable Finnish VAT (ALV). Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of placing your order.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards, as well as cash payments in-restaurant. Online orders must be paid by card at the time of placing the order.

Order Confirmation

An order is not accepted until you receive an order confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us before assuming the order was placed.

Order Modifications & Cancellations

Once an order has entered preparation, we may not be able to modify or cancel it. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.

Refunds

If your order is incorrect or there is a quality issue, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund.

Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens listed under EU Regulation No 1169/2011, including gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, shellfish, and soya. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that dishes are entirely free from cross-contamination. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please inform our staff before ordering. Aurora Restaurant accepts no liability for allergic reactions resulting from failure to disclose allergen information at the time of ordering.

Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to specific terms communicated at the time of the promotion. They cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise, and may not be applied retrospectively. Aurora Restaurant reserves the right to withdraw or modify promotions at any time.

You agree not to use our website or services to: submit false or misleading information; make fraudulent reservations or orders; upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish law, Aurora Restaurant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of revenue. Our liability for any direct loss shall not exceed the value of the order or reservation in question.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as map services or payment providers). Aurora Restaurant is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and conditions.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oulu, Finland. As a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings before Finnish consumer protection bodies.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
